WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION…
During a session, you’ll lie fully clothed on a massage table in a quiet, calm space. I may place my hands gently on or just above areas of the body. Focusing on key energy centres (known as chakras) and areas of tension or stagnation in your energy field. There’s no manipulation, no pressure—just focused intention and atunement to your body’s unique rhythm.
Every session is different because your body and energy are constantly evolving. You might feel warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness, or emotional release. Many people enter a deeply relaxed, meditative state—sometimes even drifting into a kind of conscious rest where brainwaves naturally shift into a meditative and healing frequency. Theta waves (4-7.5 Hz).
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A SESSION…
No alcohol 24 hours prior to the session – Alcohol can interfere with your energy flow and may affect the effectiveness of the treatment.
Be well-rested and grounded – Arrive feeling relaxed and centered. If you’ve had a long or stressful day, take a moment to reset before your session.
Wear comfortable clothing – Choose loose, comfortable attire that allows for easy movement and relaxation during the session.
Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water before and after your session to help facilitate energy flow and promote healing.
Some arrive with a specific intention—like managing stress, moving through emotional blocks, or seeking clarity. Others simply come with a willingness to receive. Either way, the session meets you where you are. Reiki doesn't force anything; it creates the conditions for change to happen from the inside out.
